Artist Statement:
Georgia Jones is a Manchester based illustrator and animator, who specialises in character design, and narrative illustration. Georgia typically uses a darker colour palette and has a wide skill set in both traditional and digital art, due to experience in both fine art and graphic design courses. Her favourite art medium is pencil drawing as she spent most of her high school years practicing and refining the skill, having a keen interest for adding detail, but she also likes to paint when colour is needed. Her inspiration is driven by her love for video games and the fictional world and is often seen creating fan art of her favourite characters. She particularly loves to draw apocalyptic themed pieces where nature has retaken the earth, derivative of her admiration for the PlayStation game and HBO show, The Last of Us.
